Plate 108. Simple bottle with flanged mouth rim. Salt fired white stoneware with Albany slip. 7 inches high. “Albany slip” was made from a clay found near Albany and was widely used to glaze the inside of salt fired commercial ware made in the eastern US for several hundred years.
